Prior to forming Bray & Gillespie, Mr. Bray was Managing Director of the Hotel & Management Investment Banking group of Lodging Specialties, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia. His responsibilities included the firm's domestic and international management and investment banking activities, with primary emphasis in the hospitality industry. Since 1975, Mr. Bray has been involved in the hospitality industry in various capacities with experience in hotel and food service operations.

Mr. Bray has provided investment banking services for the successful sale and debt/equity placement of over $2 billion in hospitality related transactions. He has successfully managed and owned numerous hotels throughout the country. He has had a direct equity interest in over $450 million of hospitality assets.

Mr. Bray earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Science in Hotel and Food Administration from Florida International University, graduating top in his class.

Prior to forming the company, Mr. Gillespie served as Senior Vice President with the Hotel & Management Investment Banking group of Lodging Specialties, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia.

He has substantial experience in all phases of hospitality related assets throughout the United States and the Caribbean including sourcing, acquisition, liquidation, financing and debt restructuring. Mr. Gillespie specializes in portfolio acquisitions through direct property purchase or debt instrument acquisition and focuses on structuring creative debt and equity solutions. He is responsible for approximately $2 billion in asset sales and debt/equity placements and has had a direct equity interest in over $250 million of hotel assets.

In addition to investment banking activities, he provides supervision of the asset management and financial reporting of managed and owned properties. Mr. Gillespie earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of South Carolina and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
